Yangshuo County is a county in Guilin, Guangxi Province, China. Its seat is located in Yangshuo Town. Surrounded by karst peaks and bordered on one side by the Li River it is easily accessible by bus or by boat from nearby Guilin. Over the years, it has become popular with foreign backpackers. Fascinating limestone hills and towers lure tourists from China and around the world to this city of 630,000. Popular sights include 120-hectare Seven Star Park, Reed Flute Cave, 200-foot high Fubo Hill and the much-loved Elephant Trunk Hill. Guilin is very popular as a starting point for Li River cruises to Yangshuo and for visits to the nearby minority villages of Yao, Miao and Dong.
