Inner Mongolia Excursion

The Education Abroad Network China semester programs include an Inner Mongolia excursion trip for all participants.  Inner Mongolia covers an enormous expanse of often desolate landscape stretching from the Gobi Desert in the west to the Argun River along the Russian border in the northeast.  These wide open spaces of Inner Mongolia’s “big sky country” are a welcome relief from China’s urban centers and offers a glimpse of the Mongolian way of life.  The trip will give students an understanding of modern China and provide insight into many traditional customs and beliefs.
