The Education Abroad Network Scholarship Program

In addition to the current financial aid you receive, you may want to consider one of our many scholarships. Each year we award thousands of scholarship dollars to qualfied program participants. Most awards range from $500 - $1,500, and we have many categories including need-based, merit-based and travel grants. In recent semesters, 100% of qualifying applicants have been awarded scholarships.

To be eligible for The Education Abroad Network Scholarship Program, participants must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher. For more specific details, including information on deadlines, awards and selection criteria, please download the complete scholarship guide and application .

Other Scholarship Programs

Benjamin Gilman International Scholarship Program

This program provides awards of up to $5,000 for U.S citizen undergraduate students at 2 and 4-year institutions to participate in semester or year-long study abroad programs. For more information please visit www.iie.org/gilman/.

General Federation of Women's Clubs of Massachusetts

This organization offers up to $800 in scholarships to MASSACHUSETTS residents who will study abroad during the summer of 2007 (12 credit program), fall 2007 (12 credits) or spring 2008 (12 credits) or academic year 2007-08. Applications are available by contacting Jane Howard at or by visiting www.gfwcma.org/id39.html. Deadline for submission is March 1.

New England—China Scholarship Program 

The scholarships provide New England students with the opportunity to spend up to a year abroad in China—studying the language, experiencing another culture and visiting world-famous landmarks. Tuition and fees are covered by the Beijing Municipal Education Commission. The program provides a wide and unique variety of institutions from which New England college and university students can choose, including many of Beijing’s finest institutions.
