The Academic Program
Select from some of the most prestigious and sought-after universities in the Asia Pacific. The universities have been selected based on such factors as prestige, academic offerings, location and accessibility. In most countries, TEAN has partnered with universities that are ranked in the top three in the nation as well as offering other highly regarded universities for students of various majors and academic backgrounds. Our US based staff have visited these programs and can provide detailed information about the locations and academic strengths so you can select a program that best fits you. We also offer the option of short courses or internships.
Unmatched Preparation and Orientation
Moving into a new academic system, let alone a new culture, can take some adjusting. You will have many questions about every aspect of your study abroad experience. To address these concerns, we provide a comprehensive pre-departure orientation through written guides and an extensive series of personal contacts via campus visits, phone calls and email correspondence. Upon arrival, all students are met at the airport and given all the assistance they need to settle into their new home. Our exclusive 5-Day Orientation is provided for most of our programs. It is a combination of helpful academic sessions, group activities, sightseeing, and social and cultural activities in a relaxed and informal setting. During the orientation you will meet our in-country staff and other students on the program. The orientation provides the information you will need for a successful semester – all while having a little fun as well.

Easy Enrollment/Credit Transfer Process
We have been helping students study abroad since 1995 and have continued to identify ways to assist in making our students’ dream of studying abroad a reality. Today we boast a fine-tuned, simplified process to help you apply to the university of your choice and assist you every step of the way, from initial application completion to a smooth credit transfer. In 2004 we launched our unique Virtual Application Manager allowing access to your account 24 hours a day to update personal information, review enrollment status and complete on-line forms.

No one knows a city better than the locals! Whether it’s finding the best deals, avoiding tourist traps, eating the best food at the right price – as well as helping in the (unlikely) event of a crisis – the best in-country support comes from those who know the country and culture best. That’s why our global Resident Director network is staffed by knowledgeable, experienced in-country staff. As residents of the host countries, they are well-equipped to provide extensive, practical assistance when you need it. Our Resident Directors are your first contact for any matter and provide a friendly face and personal service from Day One and throughout the entire study abroad experience. Most are natives of the cities where they live, adding even greater local knowledge.
