South East Asia Comparative Studies Semester (SEACS)

For students who wish to see more of Southeast Asia, the South East Asia Comparative Semester (SEACS) through Payap University and the University of Cambodia doesn’t disappoint. From the green hills of northern Thailand to the bustling streets of Phnom Penh and ending amongst the majestic ruins of Angkor outside of Siem Reap, this traveling program splits time amongst both fascinating countries. After gaining knowledge of the region during two months in Chiang Mai, Thailand, the program continues to Cambodia where coursework emphasizes the recent history of the country, while also bringing students face-to-face with dynamic Khmer civilization. As students learn Thai and Khmer and meet students from around Southeast Asia and the rest of the world, opportunities for growth and adventure are immeasurable. The program offers on-site staff in both Thailand and Cambodia, an orientation program in Bangkok, and numerous included excursions.
